A Smithy is a mid-tier crafting station that allows the player to craft the basic Steel variety of metal equipment and tools.

Obtaining

The only way to obtain a Smithy is to upgrade an Anvil station to it by clicking the upgrade icon after you open the Anvil. It requires 120 Stone to upgrade to a Smithy from an Anvil.

Usage

A Smithy as an item, is generally used for placement on the world to be further interacted with after doing so. As the station, it allows crafting of basic iron and steel weaponry, iron and steel javelins, iron and steel harvesting tools, both the iron crest and the steel crest and tops it off with the full suits of Iron and Steel Armour. It also allows the player to craft an exclusive resource, Steel Compound which is used to smelt Steel Ingots. Interact with the placed station to view your Manuscripts or crafting recipes.
