A Smelter is an advanced cooking station that allows the player to cook raw Meat and Raw Bird as well as smelt raw ores and compounds into ingots. It has the fastest possible cooking times and also has the longest possible fuel duration, as well as the most efficiently possible fuel cost.

Obtaining[ | ]
The only way to obtain a Smelter is to upgrade a Firepit cooking station to it by opening the Firepit and clicking the upgrade icon. First, it requires 75 Stone to upgrade a Campfire to a Firepit. Then, It requires 750 Stone to upgrade a Firepit to a Smelter.

Usage[ | ]
A Smelter as an item, is generally used for placement on the world to be further interacted with after doing so. As the station, it allows the player to cook Meat and Raw Bird or burn both of them once being cooked if they are placed into the Input slot again. It also has the ability to smelt raw ores and compounds into ingots. It has the fastest possible cooking times. It takes the most amount of space for this type of station at 48 blocks.
